What does "SPAM" mean?
Short Pointless Annoying Message
Spam is generally anything that does not follow the rules, or is unwanted. If some tells you a message is spam, it may be because it breaks one of the following Rules.
Posting Rules:
1. No obscene content should be posted or put in a signature under any circumstances, explicit or not. This includes pictures, movies, drawings, audio files, text, or items in any other format. Nothing should be put up on the board rated over PG-13. The penalty is banishment.
2. FLAMING IS NOT ALLOWED! Flaming is being disrespectful to other users, regardless of type (racial, physical, or sexist remarks). Flaming because of opinions is NOT tolerated. Staff members are also forum users, so you must respect them too. Do not cuss at anyone. Please inform a staff member if someone is flaming you, or there is a flame war.
3. DO NOT post in topics that haven't been touched in 6 weeks. Sticky Topics are the ONLY exception!
4. NO 'backseat modding': If you are not a Moderator, do not act like one. Further, only GLOBAL Moderators have the authority of policing the entire forum. Please do not back-seat-mod in forums you are not a Mod in. You may report violations to a mod/GM via Private Message (PM).
5. DO NOT double post. Use the edit button if you want to add more to your post. Sometimes the edit button will disappear. That is an exception. Make sure you say that your double post was accidental. If you are updating writing, that is also an exception.
6. You CANNOT post material containing any type of drug, tobacco, or alcohol. Such items will be DELETED without notice.
7. Don't make posts that may disturb other members, or that are too depressing, unless it's something that happened to you. You will not get in trouble for posting it, but please do avoid it.
8. You may not discuss ROMs, warez, cracks, serials or any other pirated or illegally-obtained copyrighted content or programs. You may not warn users about any virus: TOO MANY viruses are being discovered every day, so it's pointless to be scared of just one.
9. Don't make topics that are hard to respond to. All topics should lead to responses from other users. Topics like this may be deleted or locked without warning.
10. Do not role play outside of the Role Play section.
Account Rules:
You may only have one forum account. If you forget your password, please try to recover it first. If you still cannot log into your account, email the Admin. Accounts created to evade previous bans will be banned again. Re-joining the forum with a second account after any Ban will result in an Automatic Perma-Ban of the second account, and the first account will be on the next Temp-Ban Level. (see Ban Procedures below) If another member uses your computer to go on TF (such as a brother, sister, or friend), be sure to post this in the New People forum. Otherwise, a forum Staff Member may ban the extra account, because they share the same IP address.
Profile Rules:
Username Changes:
•Your name can ONLY be changed by an Administrator
•It will only be done ONCE for major changes (like going from yoshikid_234 to major_henry)
•Small name change MAY be made if you ask nicely! (like going from major_henry to Major Henry, or anything like adding special characters to a name)
Signature Limits:
•No signature image may exceed 180 pixels high by 550 pixels wide.
•Signatures can only contain 500 characters. This includes URL addresses and Images.
Signature Content:
•You may advertise YOUR website in your signature ONLY.
•Advertising any other sites, anywhere on the forum, is not allowed, especially other Yoshi forums.
•You may NOT PM other members to join your forum either.
Avatar Limits:
•May be a MAX of 130px by 130px
Ban Procedures:
(Temp-Ban)
Level: 1
Length: 3 days
Requires: Receive THREE (3) Warnings total from any Staff member
Level: 2
Length: 10 days
Requires: Receive THREE (3) Warnings total from any Staff member in TWO (2) weeks.
Level: 3
Length: 30 days (1 Month)
Requires: Receive THREE (3) Warnings total from any Staff member in ONE Month
*Failure to follow the rules after a Level 3 Temp-Ban will result in a Perma-Ban of your account*
Re-joining the forum with a second account after any Temp-Ban will result in an Automatic Perma-Ban of the second account, and the first account will be on the next Temp-Ban Level.
A Temporary Ban will be given for any minor reoccurring offense, such as repeated Spamming, or disrespecting another Member or Staff Member. 3 warnings will result in a Temp-Ban. Note that this is the TOTAL warnings, regardless of cause, or Staff member who issued it.

Perma-Ban
Level: Permanent Ban
Length: n/a
Requires:
•Failure to follow the rules after a LEVEL 3 Temp-Ban will result in a Perma-Ban.
•Re-joining the forum with a second account after any Temp-Ban will result in an Automatic Perma-Ban of the second account, and the first account will be on the next Temp-Ban Level.
•This will also be given automatically for more serious offenses (See Below)
A Permanent Ban will be given for any offense deemed serious by the forum Staff, such as deliberate mass Spam, intentionally posting vulgar words normally censored by the forum's swear filter, any posting of R-rated material, serious or repeated disrespect of ANY forum Member or Staff Member, or for any other serious reason at a forum Administrator's discretion.
